All of these satellites use a synchronous orbit and the rest use a tilted orbit with a period of 24 hours. The plan uses pseudo-random code (PRN) as the basis to spread satellite ranging signals. Its powerful function can detect it even when the signal density is less than 1% of the environmental noise. The successful use of pseudo-random codes is an important basis for the success of GPS systems. The Navy’s plan is mainly used to provide low-dynamic two-dimensional positioning for ships, and the Air Force’s plan can provide high-dynamic services, but the system is too complex. Since the development of two systems at the same time will cause huge costs and the two programs here are designed to provide global positioning, the US Department of Defense combined the two into one in 1973, and the satellite navigation and positioning joint led by the Department of Defense Under the leadership of the Planning Bureau (JPO), it also established an office in the Air Force and Space Department in Los Angeles. The organization has many members, including representatives from the U.S. Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Department of Transportation, Defense Mapping Agency, NATO, and Australia.
